This week’s FRIDGE PHOTO
submission comes from the Windy City, Chicago,
Illinois. This fridge contains one of the
neatest arrangement of foodstuff since, well --
all I can say is, "Eat your heart out, Mr.
Monk!"
Dear Tim,
Our freezer door contains
a variety of frozen vegetables and nuts. Barely
visible on the right side of the freezer is a
chilly bottle of Smirnoff. The refrigerator door
has buttermilk, butter and every soy /hot sauce
known to man. The fridge has a bevy of Summer
dishes including watermelon, taffy apple salad,
potato salad and fresh mangos. Unseen and in the
back is a box containing a dozen quail eggs.
Trying to get IN the fridge is our cat, Possum.
Chicago, IL
Dear Chicago,
What a wonderful fridge. I
am very impressed with your condiment
collection, including what appears to be a tube
of WASABI paste -- one of my favorites. And, of
course, the prerequisite bottle of Lea & Perrins
Worcestershire Sauce. You are good to go. I
can't help but notice your watermelon appears to
be in the process of being consumed from the top
down, similar to a gallon of ice cream. Either
that, or you have a very large rat living in
there back in the unseen realm with the quail
eggs. I suspect your breakfast omelets are
somewhat diminutive.
BTW, I think Possum is
looking for the rat.
Come on, join the fun. Fridges are human, too.
Email (ST at RecipeduJour.com) an unabashed,
doors-splayed-wide-open impromptu JPEG photo of
your fridge, no matter what the condition
inside. Use "Fridge Photo" as the subject.
Relax. I will not post your name or email
address. No large files, please! I have
several Fridge Photo submissions. I will post
them as time permits. |
